NOC Engineer
As a NOC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the performance of the cloud infrastructure meets the requirements of the organization and the needs of the users. You will be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is secure, reliable, and high-performing. You will be expected to provide NOC engineering support to the organization, including the provision of help desk services and the resolution of technical issues. You will also be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and updating of hardware and software environments to ensure a high-performing cloud environment.’
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the planning, provisioning, and monitoring of the cloud infrastructure. You will be expected to provide NOC engineering support to the organization, including the provision of help desk services and the resolution of technical issues. You will be responsible for the management of the provisioning of new services, the modification and administration of existing services, and the monitoring of service health and performance. You will be expected to provide the organization with technical leadership and guidance in the areas of cloud, virtualization, and data center management.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Help desk support for the Infrastructure team and other NOC engineers when they are experiencing technical issues. The provision of assistance, guidance, and resolution of technical issues. Verifying system requirements and determining the appropriate remediation for issues. Providing system and infrastructure status updates to the rest of the NOC engineering team and the organization.
Duties:
Your duties will include: Ensuring that the hardware and software environments are configured to meet the needs of the organization and the requirements of the users. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of software and hardware infrastructure used by the NOC to provide service to the users. You will be required to work closely with other members of the team to ensure that the needs of the users are met in a timely manner. You will be expected to provide technical support to the organization, including the provision of help desk services and the resolution of technical issues. You will also be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the security and privacy of the users’ data, hardware, software, and infrastructure.
The provision of technical leadership and guidance in the areas of infrastructure, data center management, and virtualization. Coordinating with other NOC engineers when required. Act as a resource to the Infrastructure team when they are experiencing technical issues.
